  • Foundation Registrar (Professional Services - internal applicants only)

    We are seeking a registrar to provide an outstanding customer service for pupils for 11+, 16+ entry and other year groups, to ensure the continued health of all of the Foundation Schools.

    The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience, ideally having previous admissions experience within education. They will also have a good understanding of processes required to recruit students and have exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers. They will be well organised with experience of data management and analysis, ideally using iSAMs.

    This is an exciting opportunity to manage and take responsibility for all aspects of the customer journey, including organising and running admissions events and communications. The Foundation Registrar will support the admissions processes as required across each school within the foundation. Offer guidance and best practice knowledge for existing and new registrars within the family of schools.

  • Financial Accountant (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Financial Accountant, who will have line management responsibility for a number of the Finance team.

    The successful candidate will help to develop and maintain financial operations and high financial standards within the Department; they will lead on analytics across the four schools.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a financial management environment, understand the production and monitoring of budgets and a thorough understanding of internal Financial Reporting.  You will have experience of external audit processes (either as client or auditor), with the ability to identify problems and solutions.

    This is a full-time (37 hours per week), year-round role and the salary is between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

  • Purchase Ledger Clerk (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Purchase Ledger Clerk who will administer the Purchase Ledger for the Foundation.

    The successful candidate will maintain the Purchase Ledger for Warwick Independent Schools Foundation and Warwick School Enterprises Ltd.  As part of a busy Finance team, you will also be asked to help support other areas as appropriate.

    The ideal candidate will be: organised with great attention to detail; efficient; be able to prioritise; and multi-task effectively.  They will enjoy working as part of a team.

    This role is full time (37 hours per week), year-round.  The salary is between Points 21 and 24 of the Support Staff pay scale (£23,377 and £25,595).

  • Duty Supervisor (Professional Services, Sports Centre)

    We are seeking to appoint a Duty Supervisor to supervise a team of staff in ensuring the effective day to day 'Front Line' operation of Warwick School Sports Centre and the Bridge Sports Centre.

    The successful candidate will have a positive, 'can-do' attitude and be prepared to support the team with daily tasks and make decisions to ensure that the Sports Centre and associated facilities (e.g. Astros and Netball areas) remain fully operational, that staff and equipment are resourced and ready for customer use.

  • Foundation Director of Safeguarding

    Warwick Independent Schools Foundation is seeking to appoint an exceptional Foundation Director of Safeguarding to be the strategic safeguarding lead for the Foundation and to develop the charity’s strategic approach to safeguarding. 

    The Foundation Director of Safeguarding will advise the Governors and Foundation Principal, support the Heads and DSLs, and ensure regulatory compliance in all areas of safeguarding.  

    This is a new role within the Foundation and is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding candidate to play a central role at the newly augmented Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, which is rightly proud of its impressive campuses educating more than 2800 pupils across its schools. The Foundation Director of Safeguarding reports directly to the Foundation Principal and sits on the Principal’s Group.  

    To be successful in this role, comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policy, procedure, application and best practice guidance is essential. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have had significant safeguarding responsibility in a previous role.  

    The post is for September, and commands a comprehensive package, commensurate with the importance of the post and the standing of the Foundation.

    The successful applicant will have solid experience in Carpenter & Joinery and will enjoy being part of a busy, hard-working team which makes a significant contribution to the life of the schools.

    This is a year-round, full-time post of 40 hours per week and is between Point 23-25 of the Support Staff salary scale (£26,749 - £28,594).  The hours of work are between Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with one hour unpaid lunch break.  Due to the nature of the post, occasional evening and weekend work will be required.

  • Kitchen Porter (Professional Services)

    We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to support the Head Chef with the daily provision of meals and refreshments to the pupils and staff at Warwick Preparatory School.

    The role will involve assisting in the preparation and service of all meals and refreshments, ensuring the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both during and after service, and correctly storing, labelling and rotating food items. The successful applicant will have previous of working in a busy catering environment and an appreciated of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    The hours of work are 30 per week, term-time only (8.15am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday).  We are delighted to be able to offer the Foundation Living Wage of £9.90 per hour for this appointment.

  • Chef de Partie (term time only) - (Warwick Prep School)

    We are seeking to appoint a Chef de Partie to provide quality food for the core pupil dining service and both internal and external functions.

    The successful candidate will have experience of working in a catering environment or similar and will have the ability to demonstrate good food handling and production techniques.  Predominantly, this role is based at King's High School but works across all schools on the Warwick campus.

    The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week for 36 weeks per year (term time only plus INSET days and 3 days in the holidays), 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.  The actual salary for this role is £16,617 per annum.

  • Swimming Teachers (Level 1 and 2) - weekends only (Sports Centre)

    We are seeking to appoint part-time Swimming Teachers for our outstanding Swim School.

    The ideal candidate will have ASA or STA level one or above, the Teacher Rescue Award and at least 6 months' experience coaching swimming to children; a Lifeguard or First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.  Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to quickly build rapport with children and parents.

    We are open on Saturdays between 8am - 2.30pm and Sundays from 8.30am - 1.30pm, all year round. Flexible working patterns within these times are available.  The rate of pay for Level One is £14.63 per hour and Level Two is £18.68 per hour.

  • Leisure Assistants, part-time (Sports Centre)

    We are seeking to appoint a number of Leisure Assistants to assist in the high-quality running of the day-to-day operational efficiency of the Sports Centre and associated sports facilities.

    The successful candidates will also assist in supervising the use of the Sports Hall, squash courts and other facilities of hire within the sports centre and grounds.

    There are a number of shift opportunities available, from mid-week evenings (5.30pm - 10.30pm), Saturdays 7am - 6pm and Sundays 8am - 6pm.  The contracts are offered on a casual, zero hours basis and the hourly rate is £11.58.
