  • Duty Supervisor (Professional Services, Sports Centre)

    An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Supervisor to work on a casual basis at our Sports Centre.  The duties are varied - they involve lifeguarding pool sessions, monitoring the pool plant, cleaning and upkeep of the sports centre and facilities, meeting and greeting staff and visitors, general administration and first aid.

    The successful applicant will have an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification and either have (or be willing to attain) a First Aid at Work Certificate.  An ASA or STA level 1 or 2 Swimming Teacher qualification would be particularly advantageous.  Most important is the ability to work well as part of a team, to use initiative and to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

    As this is a casual (zero hours) contract, the hourly rate includes holiday pay and it set between Points 15 - 18 on the WISF support scale (£12.30 - £12.97 per hour).  For further information and details on how to apply, please refer to the attached Applicant Information Pack.

  • Kitchen Assistant/Porter (Professional Services)

    We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to support the Head Chef with the daily provision of meals and refreshments to the pupils and staff at Warwick Preparatory School. This will involve assisting in the preparation and service of all meals and refreshments, ensuring the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both during and after service, and correctly storing, labelling and rotating food items.

    The successful applicant will have previous of working in a busy Catering environment and an appreciated of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    This is a year-round post, working from 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week) and the salary is Point 11 of the WISF support scale (£19,305 per annum).

  • Chef de Partie (Professional Services)

    We are looking for a Chef de Partie to provide quality food for the core pupil dining service and both internal and external functions.

    The successful candidate will have experience of working in a catering environment or similar and will have the ability to demonstrate good food handling and production techniques.  Predominantly, this role is based at Warwick Preparatory School but works across the schools on the Warwick Campus.

  • Administrator for Foundation IT Support (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Administrator for Foundation IT Support who will support the IT team in providing an outstanding level of service provision throughout the Foundation.

    The successful candidate will support the Foundation Director of Digitally Enabled Learning and the Foundation IT Support Team – enabling the team to deliver effective IT support and management across all schools within the Foundation. The post holder will provide key administrative support to the team (from helpdesk and database management to financial administration), and communication with staff, pupils, parents and external contractors/partners.

    The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient and able to prioritise and multi-task effectively. They will enjoy working as part of a team.

  • Swimming Teachers (Level 1 and 2) - weekends only (Sports Centre)

    We are seeking to appoint part-time Swimming Teachers for our outstanding Swim School.

    The ideal candidate will have ASA or STA level one or above, the Teacher Rescue Award and at least 6 months' experience coaching swimming to children; a Lifeguard or First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.  Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to quickly build rapport with children and parents.

    We are open on Saturdays between 8am - 2.30pm and Sundays from 8.30am - 1.30pm, all year round. Flexible working patterns within these times are available.  The rate of pay for Level One is £14.63 per hour and Level Two is £18.68 per hour.

  • Leisure Attendant, flexible hours (Sports Centre)

    We are seeking to appoint a number of Leisure Attendants to assist in the high-quality running of the day-to-day operational efficiency of the Sports Centre and associated sports facilities.

    The successful candidates will also assist in supervising the use of the Sports Hall, squash courts and other facilities of hire within the sports centre and grounds.

    There are a number of shift opportunities available with varying hours The contracts are offered on a casual, zero hours basis and the hourly rate is £11.58.
