Duty Supervisor (Professional Services, Sports Centre)

An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Supervisor to work on a casual basis at our Sports Centre.  The duties are varied - they involve lifeguarding pool sessions, monitoring the pool plant, cleaning and upkeep of the sports centre and facilities, meeting and greeting staff and visitors, general administration and first aid.

The successful applicant will have an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification and either have (or be willing to attain) a First Aid at Work Certificate.  An ASA or STA level 1 or 2 Swimming Teacher qualification would be particularly advantageous.  Most important is the ability to work well as part of a team, to use initiative and to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

As this is a casual (zero hours) contract, the hourly rate includes holiday pay and it set between Points 15 - 18 on the WISF support scale (£12.30 - £12.97 per hour).  For further information and details on how to apply, please refer to the attached Applicant Information Pack.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 25th August 2022 at 12 noon.

The Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
