  • Teacher of Business & Economics, part-time (King's High School)

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Teacher of Business and Economics to join a vibrant and ambitious department in a thriving school. The role is for up to 0.7 of a full timetable, depending on the experience of the successful applicant.

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset and a forward-thinking approach to the teaching of Business and Economics at Sixth Form level.

    The successful candidate will be able to teach Business and Economics to a very high standard, inspiring a genuine interest in the subject, and contributing with enthusiasm to the busy co-curricular life of the department and school.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative practitioner to develop their skills and experience in a highly successful department. It is a particularly exciting time to be joining the school as we enjoy our superb new facilities at the Myton Road site.

    The department enjoys excellent links to the schools within the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation and is extremely well resourced. The department consists of two teachers who work collaboratively to ensure the very highest standards of teaching and learning.

  • Visiting Music Teacher: Piano (Kingsley)

    We are looking for a qualified and committed Visiting Music Teacher of Piano teacher (and accompanist) to join and enhance our successful team.

    To teach and enthuse students from beginner level up to grade 8 and beyond, preparing for ABRSM, Trinity, GCSE and A level examinations.

    Additionally, to accompany soloists for examinations, assessments, and performances, such as school concerts and prize giving, and accompanying various school ensembles as and when required. The post holder should also teach music theory.

  • NMAPS - Train as a Maths Teacher

    Warwick Independent Schools Foundation are seeking to recruit good graduates, including those looking to change career, to train as secondary school mathematics teachers.

    This year long, entirely school based training, leading to the award of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a PGCE, will take place on the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation Campus with placements available at both local state and independent schools. Our schools have a long and successful record of inspiring students to study mathematics, facilitating the achievement of high academic results and filling students with a love of numbers. The scheme will be led by subject experts at the schools. The Kingsley School, Leamington Spa, and Avon Valley School, Rugby, are also available as placement schools.

    Warwick Independant Schools Foundation is leading the Warwick Regional Hub of the National Mathematics and Physics School Centred Initial Teacher Training Scheme (NMAPS).

    Successful applicants are eligible to apply for the tax free £24,000 bursary available through the Department for Education or £26,000 scholarship from the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.
