Warwick Independent Schools Foundation are seeking to recruit good graduates, including those looking to change career, to train as secondary school physics teachers.
This year long, entirely school based training, leading to the award of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a PGCE, will take place on the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation Campus with placements available at both local state and independent schools. Our schools have a long and successful record of inspiring students to study mathematics, facilitating the achievement of high academic results and filling students with a love of numbers. The scheme will be led by subject experts at the schools. The Kingsley School, Leamington Spa, and Avon Valley School, Rugby, are also available as placement schools.
Warwick Independant Schools Foundation is leading the Warwick Regional Hub of the National Mathematics and Physics School Centred Initial Teacher Training Scheme (NMAPS).
